Comedian Sinbad is turning the act of filing bankruptcy into an art form. According to TMZ, for the second time in the last four years, the ’90s comedian has filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy claiming he’s broke and owes nearly $10 million in taxes. Sinbad, whose real name is David Adkins, further claims he has just $131,000 in assets, among them a 2007 BMW 750i, a 2006 VW Beetle, a 2010 Ford F150, a Lincoln Navigator and $5,000 in home office equipment.

The now 56-year-old comedian, made famous from roles in such movies as “Houseguest” and “Jingle All the Way,” also maintains he owes $374,979 to American Express, $32,199 to Bank of America, and $2.3 million to the CA Franchise Tax Board.

TMZ also reported, he also claims he owes $8.3 million to the IRS for taxes from 1998-2006, and admits he owes both state and federal taxes from 2009-2012. According to those same documents, he claims earnings of only $16,000 per month and list 200 copies of his "Sinbad's Guide to Life" novel, currently selling on Amazon for $6.25 each as assets.

TMZ added, he previously filed for bankruptcy once in 2009, but the case was dismissed because he didn't file the right documents.
