Tom Brady Jokes About LeBron James' Training And Conditioning

Many would argue that LeBron James and Tom Brady are on opposite ends of the athletic spectrum. LeBron is a nearly superhuman athlete that seems capable of anything when he takes the court. Tom Brady is referred to as "the ultimate pocket passer," which is a kind of euphemism for "he is really slow."

Still, Brady is a future Hall of Famer, and he definitely works hard to stay at his best. According to media reports, Brady thinks that King James should take some notes on his workout habits.

Trainer Alex Guerrero has helped Brady monitor his fitness and diet, allowing him to increase his athleticism despite growing older. It has also helped Brady stay on top of his game even as he enters his late thirties.

Brady's habits have been detailed before. He is meticulous about what he eats, how much he sleeps, when he practices, and when he gets his off-field work in. The intense training helped Brady return and play as well as ever after his horrific knee injury in 2008, and it has him looking like he could play for several more years if he wants to.

Melo Thinking Of Waiving No-Trade Clause

"God, what if LeBron James trained how I trained?" Brady remarked. "He really could play forever."

James is regarded as one of the most impressive athletes in any sport. He moves like someone much smaller, and his speed and explosiveness are off the charts. He obviously adheres to his own workout regimen, which no doubt helped make him into the best basketball player in the game and one of the best ever.

Brady still believes that there is room for improvement. He no doubt feels that way as a result of the confidence that comes from winning three championships in one of the most physically demanding professional sports. Still, if Brady is right, and LeBron actually does find a way to work harder, that is a tantalizing thought for NBA fans and a scary one for James' opponents.
