Tim Tebow News: Former Heisman 'Feels Blessed' to Be Announcing Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl [VIDEO]

Tim Tebow's taking a big step up in the sports broadcasting world later this month.

The former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL quarterback has made a second career for himself this year as a television personality. He's served as a desk analyst for the SEC Network this season, and signed on to be a catch-all "Good News" contributor to ABC's Good Morning America.

Now USA Today's For the Win blog is reporting that Tebow will also get a chance to call a game -- he'll be in the booth as a color commentator for the Chick-fil-A Bowl (née Peach Bowl).

Tebow will be joined on the call by Joe Tessitore and Brock Huard. Shannon Spake is slated to report from the sideline. This year's Chick-fl-A Bowl promises to be a barn-burner, showcasing the no. 9 ranked Ole Miss Running Rebels against the no. 6 ranked (and college playoff snubbed) TCU Horned Frogs.

“I love the game and it’s been an incredible learning experience on the television side this fall,” Tebow told USA TODAY Sports via email. “SEC Nation has become my second family. The bowl season simply provided the opportunity to contribute in a different way and share my passion for the game in-motion as a game analyst. I have a great respect for the booth and feel blessed to be joining a team of veterans for the Peach Bowl in my first game role.”
