The Chicago White Sox (18-21) and the the Los Angeles Angels (15-26) will continue their weekend series on Friday night at 10:05 p.m. ET at Angel Stadium of Anaheim in Anaheim, California. The game will air on Fox West, MLB.com with a paid subscription and can be streamed live here.

White Sox ace Chris Sale (4-2) will start for Chicago. Sale currently owns a 2.88 ERA and is coming off a complete-game shutout of Los Angeles during his previous start.

Sale has gone 3-0 with a 1.48 ERA over his last four starts, striking out at least seven three times with opponents hitting .160 against him. He's 2-0 with a 0.55 ERA in his last two starts and two relief appearances versus the Angels for his career.

The Angels will answer with C.J. Wilson getting the starting nod. Wilson is 3-2 with a 3.88 ERA during his second year with the Angels. He is coming off of a 6.2 inning, three earned run outing against the Sale and the White Sox, which resulted in his second loss of the season.

"It was a really well-pitched game," Wilson said. "And Sale just had video-game stuff."

Chicago is currently riding a three game winning streak and has won six of their last four. The Angels are on a two-game losing skid and are 4-6 in their last 10 games.

The White Sox set a season best for runs in a 9-4 win at Minnesota on Wednesday before scoring three in the eighth to beat the Angels 5-4 on Thursday. Adam Dunn hit a tying RBI single and Jeff Keppinger walked with the bases load for the go-ahead run, the first one he's drawn in 141 plate appearances this season.

"I just like the way the offense battles," manager Robin Ventura said of Dunn. The slugger is 6 for 12 with three homers and seven RBIs during the White Sox's three-game winning streak, though his .167 average is still fourth-worst in all of baseball among qualifiers.
