WWE RAW Rumors: Update On Brock Lesnar's Contract Details And 'The Beast' Being Pulled From Monday's Show [VIDEO]

The WWE recently pulled WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar from Monday's special Slammy Awards edition of Monday Night RAW and more reasons have come to the surface as to why "The Beast" was taken off the show.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the WWE recently had Lesnar booked for the show because the company thought that he would be nominated for some Slammy Awards and that he might be booked for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs, which airs six nights later.

The WWE opted not to book Lesnar for TLC, so he was pulled from the go-home RAW for it this Monday night so that the WWE didn't have to waste one of his dates since he's on a limited appearances contract.

There was originally an idea to have Lesnar face John Cena at TLC for the gold, but the WWE opted to have Cena battle Seth Rollins in a Tables Match with the stipulation being that if Cena loses, he is no longer the No. 1 contender for Lesnar's belt.

With the WWE going in that direction, it was decided that Lesnar would be pulled from Monday's show and his return will happen on the post-TLC edition of RAW the following week on Dec. 15 to start the build to the Royal Rumble.

It is expected that Cena will defeat Rollins at TLC and go on to battle Lesnar for the championship at the Royal Rumble on Jan. 25 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

It will mark the third time this year that Lesnar and Cena face-off for the title as Lesnar defeated Cena for the gold at SummerSlam in August then lost to him at Night of Champions via DQ in September after interference from Rollins.

Cena became No. 1 contender for the title after he defeated Randy Orton in a cell match at Hell in a Cell in October.

Lesnar became champion after building momentum by defeating The Undertaker and ending The Streak at WrestleMania XXX this past April and he's set to factor into the WWE's plans big time this WrestleMania season.

It seems likely that Lesnar will defeat Cena at the Royal Rumble while a returning Roman Reigns (hernia) is the probable Rumble Match winner, setting up a clash between Lesnar and Reigns at WrestleMania 31, where "The Beast" is expected to drop the gold.

It is believed that the final date of Lesnar's contract will be the post-WrestleMania 31 edition of RAW in San Jose on March 30.

There have been talks that Lesnar will return to UFC, but it remains to be seen what his plans will be come the end of March.
