Throughout the years, the WWE has had plenty of Divas, but some of them mixed sexuality with in-ring skill better than others.
The WWE has had plenty of kick a-- women, starting with Miss Elizabeth in the 1980s and branching off into the days of "original" Divas Sunny and Sable to the modern Divas of today such as AJ Lee and the Bella twins.
With this being Thanksgiving Day, we here at Sports World News will look at the top 10 WWE Divas of all time.
10) Mickie James: James, who recently had her first child, was a breath of fresh air for the WWE's Divas scene when she burst on the scene in 2005. James was solid in the ring and made a perfect foil for Trish Stratus upon her arrival while she was also very easy on the eyes. James, who also has had success in TNA, is five-time WWE Women's Champion and one-time WWE Divas Champion.
9) Kelly Kelly: While she may not be most technically-sound female wrestler of all-time, there is no disputing that Kelly Kelly is a blonde bombshell. Kelly Kelly made her WWE debut as part of ECW's Extreme Expose in 2006 and the Florida native was a prevalent part of WWE storylines until 2012. Kelly Kelly is a one-time WWE Divas Champion and recently got engaged to Anaheim Ducks defenseman Sheldon Souray.
8) Miss Elizabeth: Elizabeth could easily be higher on this list as she set the precedent for WWE Divas, most notably as the "Macho Man" Randy Savage's valet in the late 1980s. Liz was also a big part of the feud between Savage and Hulk Hogan which ultimately led to the Mega Powers exploding at WrestleMania V in 1989. Savage and Elizabeth also tied the knot (kayfabe) on WWE television at SummerSlam 1991. Elizabeth, whose real name is Elizabeth Hulette, also spent some time in WCW. She unfortunately passed away in 2003, but her legacy in professional wrestling will never be forgotten.
7) AJ Lee: With the WWE Divas division somewhat floundering in recent years, it has gotten back on track with AJ Lee. Lee is very easy on the eyes and solid in the ring as one of the better workers right now in the WWE. Lee, who got married to former WWE Superstar CM Punk this past summer, is a three-time WWE Divas Champion and makes fans in the WWE Universe thankful for the ability to tune into solid Divas action when the WWE hits the airwaves.
6) Maryse: Maryse Oulette is easily one of the sexiest Divas to ever grace a WWE ring. The French Canadian blonde bombshell spent time in the WWE from 2006-11 and now resides in Los Angeles while being married to The Miz, who is one of the luckiest guys on earth. Maryse, who has teased a come back to the ring, is a two-time Divas Champion.
5) Torrie Wilson: Undoubtedly, Torrie Wilson is one of the best looking Divas to make her presence felt in the WWE. Wilson, who was born in Idaho, but now resides in Los Angeles, rose to fame in WCW from 1999-2001 and then jumped over to the WWE for the Invasion angle once WCW was bought out by Vince McMahon. Wilson is one of the most in-shape Divas inside and outside the ring and was married to Billy Kidman in the past and was also involved with New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez as well. Wilson never won the WWE Women's Championship before departing the company in 2008, but the blonde bombshell did notch a Golden Thong Award in 2002, to the pleasure of the company's male audience.
4) Stacy Keibler: Much like Wilson, Keibler got her start in professional wrestling in WCW from 1999-2001 and jumped ship to WWE during the invasion angle. The Maryland native is known for her impressive legs and has used her backside to wow many viewers in the past. Keibler was a part of the WWE from 2001-06 and then returned for Tough Enough in 2011. Keibler has dated the late Andrew "Test" Martin and actor George Clooney in the past, but she is now married to Future Ads CEO Jared Pobre, and the couple recently had a daughter. Keibler was the WWE Diva of the Year in 2004.
3) Sable: Rena Lesnar, better known as blonde bombshell Sable, was one of the biggest influences on WWE Divas becoming main stream. Sable climbed up the WWE ladder from 1996-1999, first managing Marc Mero and then carving out her own in-ring career. Outside of the ring, Sable became the first WWE Diva to ever pose nude for Playboy Magazine, with the April 1999 edition featuring her on the cover setting a record for most issues sold. Sable, who is married to WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, last appeared in the WWE in 2004 and has graced Playboy three times. Sable is a one-time WWE Women's Champion and won the Diva of the Year Award in 1997.
2) Sunny: While Sunny's life eventually hit rock bottom in many different ways, the sultry blonde is known as the original Diva and set the bar for what women would eventually become in the WWE. Sunny, whose real name is Tammy Lynn Sytch, started out in Smoky Mountain Wrestling in 1992 before jumping ship to the WWE, where she stayed from 1995-98. Sunny was mostly a manager, but she knew how to use her sex appeal and was AOL's most downloaded person in the year 1996. Sunny, who also spent time in the Indies, WCW and ECW, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
1) Trish Stratus: The blonde bombshell from Toronto is easily one of the sexiest WWE Divas of all-time and also a feel-good story as she went from being an eye candy manager to one of the best in-ring Divas in WWE history. Stratus first entered the WWE as the manager of T&A (Test and Albert) before she learned how to hone her craft as an in-ring worker and began to mix it up with the other Divas. Stratus, whose real name is Patricia Stratigias, elevated herself to being one of the best Divas on the roster until her departure in 2007. Stratus made several accomplishments in her career, including being a seven-time Women's Champion, the Diva of the Decade for the 2000s, Diva of the Year from 2001-03 and a one-time Hardcore Champion. In 2013, Stratus reached the pinnacle of sports entertainment, being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Stratus is easily one of the sexiest and most skilled Divas to ever grace a WWE ring.
As the United States enjoys Thanksgiving Day, these 10 Divas have left the WWE Universe with a lot to be thankful for over the years in the WWE.
