Andy Reid Holdng Garage Sale to Sell Off Eagles Gear

Andy Reid's 14-year relationship with the Philadelphia Eagles may now be over, but he's still willing to give team fans the chance of a lifetime.

According to Busted Coverage, Reid and his wife are planning a garage sale at a local high school in which all the team gear he acquired while coaching the Eagles will be offered for sale. All the money raised from the event will donated to the school's football team and the Laurel House anti-domestic-violence shelter.

"We've got anything that we wore or collected over the last 14 seasons of Eagles gear," Tammy Reid told WIP Radio. "You know jackets, shorts, pants, tops, sweatpants, my rain boots, my cowboy boots that have Eagles on 'em. Everything's autographed and ready to go."

After going 130-93-1 in Philadelphia, Reid, 54, was fired at the end of the season and has since been named head coach in Kansas City. According to USA Today, he signed a five-year deal with the Chiefs that also gives him control over football decisions. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Chiefs' willingness to give him unilateral control over football matters apparently played a role in Reid's decision. After garnering a handshake deal with Kansas City, he canceled scheduled meetings with Arizona and San Diego.

"The bottom line was that there was only one job that he wanted." agent Bob LaMonte told USA Today. "That's why we didn't fool around."
