Wigan Athletic prepare to win their first ever FA Cup in this afternoon's final against last year's league champions Manchester City.

Both teams look to add a bright spot to a disappointing season. Wigan face relegation if they do not produce the right results, while city look to lift their second FA Cup in three years, their sixth in the club's history.

Man City beat Chelsea 2-1 in the Semi-Final's to reach Wembley with French international Samir Nasri and Argentinean striker Sergio Aguero scoring the goals.

Roberto Mancini's men have eliminated Chelsea, Barnsley, Leeds, Stoke and Watford in the FA Cup. Carlos Tevez is the top active Goal Scorer in the competition with five goals, behind Danny Hylton who has eight.

Wigan has not won a first division cup in their 81-year history, their last trophy Second Division League title in the 2002-2003 seasons.

Wigan has seen off Millwall, Everton, Huddersfield, Macclesfield and Bournemouth in order to get to the finals and have conceded only two goals in six matches.

If Wigan win today at Wembley and finish the Premier League in their current position of 18th, they would be the lowest-ranked side to win the FA Cup since West Ham in 1980.

Roberto Mancini will start Dzeko and Aguero in attack, while Yaya Toure is fit from injury and will play in today's final.
