Alberto Del Rio TNA Rumors: ADR Joining TNA In 2015? El Patron Plans On Working For Two Companies [VIDEO]

It appears as though former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio may be joining TNA wrestling starting in 2015.

Update On Sheamus Not Working WWE Survivor Series This Sunday

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Del Rio recently said he has plans to wrestle for two companies in 2015, with the first being the obvious AAA Lucha Underground and the second being TNA.

Per the report, Del Rio made appearances in the Northeast this past weekend -- including a surprise appearance at Tommy Dreamer's House of Hardcore VII -- and made it clear that he intends to work for AAA Lucha Underground and TNA in the New Year.

Stipulation and Traditional Match Added To Sunday's Survivor Series Card

There is reportedly no word about how Del Rio will work that out contractually between the two companies, but that appears to be his plan.

Del Rio recently reached an agreement with the WWE to complete his departure from the company that saw his no-compete clause lifted in exchange for him not painting the WWE in a racist light following the situation that led to his departure.

Del Rio was released by the WWE on Aug. 7 for slapping a social media worker who allegedly passed a racist comment about him by saying that it was Del Rio's job to clean off his plate in catering behind the former WWE Superstar's back.

There was some ugliness between the WWE and Del Rio since his departure and Del Rio appeared in a vignette that aired on AAA's TripleMania XXII event on Aug. 17.

The AAA show aired on the same night as WWE's SummerSlam, and Del Rio -- calling himself El Patron -- said he would be coming to AAA very soon.

TNA is slated to announce its future plans for its flagship show Impact Wrestling very soon as it is expected to move to a new network starting in 2015 and this week's edition of the show is expected to be the last new episode to air on Spike TV.

Signing Del Rio, a two-time WWE and World Heavyweight Champion will be a huge boost for TNA when it enters its deal with the new network for 2015.

It appears as though Del Rio has big plans for the New Year in the professional wrestling realm.
