WWE Superstar Randy Orton was written off of television last week and removed from house shows in December, but the WWE is booking him as a babyface now for the Dec. 26 live event at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Orton is scheduled to face Corporate Kane at the Dec. 26 event which makes it seem as though the face turn is complete for "The Viper."
The WWE wrote Orton out of television last week by having The Authority take him out on Monday Night RAW and giving him a storyline concussion. It has been reported that Orton will likely not be at the Survivor Series on Nov. 23 at the Scottrade Center, despite it being in his hometown of St. Louis.
Orton was taken out on RAW to start production on the upcoming WWE Studios movie The Condemned 2, which begins filming this week.
Orton could very well be a part of Survivor Series if the WWE decides to adjust his filming schedule, but the company may opt to have him sell the attack instead. There is a possibility that he joins Team Cena to get revenge on Team Authority in the main event of the November Classic.
The full teams haven't been established for the match yet, but thus far Team Cena is comprised of John Cena and Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler while Seth Rollins will captain Team Authority and Corporate Kane will also be on the squad.
It is unknown when Orton will return to WWE television, but there were rumors that the WWE may play up his injury angle through December since he was originally taken off of the Madison Square Garden advertising.
Orton was originally advertised to face The Big Show, but it seems as though the WWE has completed his face turn as he is now slated to clash with Corporate Kane at MSG the day after Christmas.
Big Show is now slated to face Mark Henry at MSG on Dec. 26.
The MSG show will not be televised, so it remains to be seen when Orton will return to WWE television.
