Tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET two teams who have struggled out of the gate will face off on ESPN when the Cleveland Cavaliers (1-3) tip off against the Denver Nuggets (1-3) at the Pepsi Center. LeBron James' early games with the new-look Cavs haven't been as smooth as many expected. LeBron scored a measly 11 points in a recent game, and is reportedly clashing with point guard Kyrie Irving; against the Utah Jazz Irving dropped 34 points but registered zero assists in 45 minutes.

"There's no way you can win a basketball game like that, just having six assists," James said. "We just can't win like that. We have to figure out a way to help each other and not make it so tough."

James assumed responsibility for Cleveland's puzzling offensive start too. "I still got to figure out ways to get my teammates involved, too," James said. "Cause it just can't be a one-, two- or three-man show. We have to do it together." He also said "Rome wasn't built in a day."

Defensively the Cavaliers have been even worse. As the season goes on first-year NBA head coach David Blatt may need to tinker with his lineups and allow veteran Shawn Marion to play more than 16 minutes on average.

"We're going to get every team's best shot and we've got to understand we've got to play defense," Marion said. "We've got to guard somebody. It's easy to get points, but if you don't play defense you're not going to give yourself a chance."
