The WWE cleared up a lot of the confusion surrounding the Team Cena vs. Team Authority main event at Survivor Series on Nov. 23 from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis and Vince McMahon even added a stipulation to the match.
McMahon made a return to television on this week's edition of Monday Night RAW and revealed that if Team Authority loses the traditional elimination match to Team Cena, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will lose their power within the company.
Captain John Cena was not at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo for RAW this week, but it was revealed that Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler is in fact the first member that Cena has recruited for his team while The Big Show also offered his services.
The WWE confirmed that it will be a five-on-five traditional match, meaning that Cena will have to officially recruit three more Superstars to join his cause.
As for Team Authority, it was revealed that Seth Rollins will be the team captain while Kane will also be on the squad. Randy Orton was supposed to be on the team as well, but the WWE wrote him off of television by having The Authority attack him at the end of RAW.
Orton was written off of television because he starts filming The Condemned 2 next week.
With The Big Show feuding with Mark Henry and offering his services to Cena, it appears as though it's a safe bet that Big Show will join Team Cena while Henry could very well end up on Team Authority.
Another match that was reportedly announced for the show, but has yet to be confirmed, is Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose, though both could also end up in the traditional match rather than having a singles bout.
The WWE was teasing a United States Championship contest between Rusev and Sheamus, but the company opted to have that match take place as a special WWE Network bout after RAW concluded Monday night.
Rusev ended up defeating Sheamus to win the United States Championship, but it is possible that Sheamus will invoke his rematch clause for Survivor Series, though Rusev joining Team Authority was also teased.
One final match the WWE has been teasing is a WWE Divas Championship contest between AJ Lee and Nikki Bella, who became the No. 1 contender for the gold on last Friday's SmackDown.
There have also been reports of a five-on-five traditional elimination Divas match, so Lee and Bella could end up in that if it happens or there could be a Divas Championship bout and traditional Divas contest on the show as well.
The WWE presents the 28th annual Survivor Series live from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis on Nov. 23
