In his first bout since serving a two-month sentence in a Las Vegas jail on domestic abuse charges, the consensus pound-for-pound champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. easily outclassed Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero in a landslide victory Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

In fact, the only damage done to the “Pretty Boy” seemed to come via his own hands. "He went to hospital Saturday night, and everything is fine," Kelly Swanson, Mayweather's longtime publicist, told ESPN.com on Sunday. "He just experienced some soreness."

During his postfight news conference, Mayweather was sure to add he’ll back in Vegas and at the MGM on Sept. 14 in what’s slated to be the second  pay-per-view fight of the 30-month, six-fight deal he recently inked with Showtime/CBS. Mayweather reportedly earned at least $32 million in Saturday’s bout.

Against Guerrero, he won by a whopping score of 117-111 on all three judge’s cards and likewise rendered Guerrero in need of emergency medical assistance by night’s end. The battered and bruised brawler (31-2-1, 18 KOs) was treated for a cut over his left eye and excessive bleeding.

Mayweather, who improved to a perfect 44-0, has hinted he plans to retire at the end of the contract.
