The St. Louis Rams have received the terrible news that wide receiver Brian Quick is officially out for the season after dislocating his shoulder and tearing his labrum.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Quick’s season is over and the rest of the wide receiver corps will attempt to pick up the slack in light of the injury. In addition to Quick, the Rams also lost left tackle Jake Long to a torn ACL and his season is over as well. The Rams are not expected to be be active at the trade deadline and will find their replacements on the current roster.

From a fantasy standpoint, Quick’s production will not be replaced easily in St. Louis. Stedman Bailey and Chris Givens are the obvious choices to get Quicks’ snaps in the offense behind Kenny Britt and Tavon Austin, but the Rams are one of the better teams in the league at spreading the ball around.
No. 2 overall pick Greg Robinson will step into the left tackle role in Long’s absence and coach Jeff Fisher said that he expects the the team to continue with their running back-by-committe approach with Tre Mason, Zac Stacy and Benny Cunningham.
