Things have reportedly been very bad between the WWE and former Superstar CM Punk since his departure in January, but it appears as though the two sides may have reached a deal on a merchandise pact.
Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that the WWE has once again continued to sell Punk's merchandise on WWE.com, leading to the belief that the organization reached a deal with the "Best in the World" over merchandise sales.
Punk is also in the WWE 2K15 video game and will be in the WWE Flintstones movie that comes out next year.
The WWE had pulled Punk's merchandise from the company's website after reports surfaced that Punk had his lawyers send the WWE a 22-page letter over royalties connected to his merchandise sales and his use in the WWE 2K15 game.
With the merchandise back up, it appears as though the WWE may have struck a deal with the former WWE Superstar, whose contract officially expired in July. Punk married current WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee in June.
Punk walked out on the WWE back in January due to his frustration over the way his character was being used as well as due to being burned out by the rigorous travel schedule of the company.
Punk has made many public appearances since his departure, but has not seemed to want to return to the ring anytime soon, even going as far as to tell a reporter at the AP Music Awards that he was "never ever" returning to the squared circle.
Punk was reportedly offered a lucrative deal by TNA -- a rumor which the company disputed, but has been up to debate -- and also appeared backstage recently at an Ohio Valley Wrestling event, but it doesn't appear as though a return to the ring for any company is imminent.
While Punk and the WWE likely settled on their merchandise issue, it doesn't mean the relationship between the two sides has gotten any better.
