The agent for Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has come out against the report that his client almost didn’t get on the team bus after hearing news that the team had traded Percy Harvin.
Doug Hendrickson took to Twitter to bash the report that his client flew into a rage after he learned of the trade and he asked that the media refrain from printing false stories.
Patriots, Buccaneers Discussing Trade for Vincent Jackson?
These reports of @MoneyLynch going off and not wanting to get on bus are absurd. Please report accurate stories and not bogus ones.

The Seahawks traded Harvin to the New York Jets last Friday for a conditional sixth-round draft pick. The Seahawks took a loss on the trade as they gave up a first-round pick to acquire Harvin from the Minnesota Vikings. Harvin signed a six-year, $67 million contract with the Seahawks soon after.

Multiple Seattle players have voiced their frustrations with the trade via Twitter, but they have all agreed that it’s a tough business move. Lynch, Cliff Avril and Gary Gilliam were among the Seattle players that spoke about the trade on Twitter. Former Seahawk Golden Tate also retweeted a meme that poked fun at Harvin since he was heading to the last place Jets.
