Two nations looking to return to form will do battle today in an international friendly between South Korea and Costa Rica. The match scheduled for 7 a.m. ET will be held at Seoul World Cup Stadium in Seoul and can be live streamed here free.
Costa Rica head coach Paulo Wanchope had this to offer ahead of today's international encounter (via Soccerway): "[The win against Oman on Friday] is the positive part, but there is no taste because I consider giving up three goals a lot, the way we did. We could have controlled the game better, having possession of the ball. Regardless, we scored four but [our defense] must be corrected and [we] cannot be happy with that."
South Korea head coach Uli Stielike will look to expose Costa Rica's weakened defense and believes his side can capture the victory on home soil. "Based on FIFA rankings, it may seem easy to see who will win this match," Stielike said at a pre-match press conference (via Yonhap News). "Yet I think there's still a possibility that we will play well enough to win. Our players have all done so well in training that I actually had difficulty selecting the starting lineup."
