Two nations looking to return to form will do battle today in an international friendly between Mexico and Panama. The match scheduled for 5 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Corregidora and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on ESPN2.
Mexico head coach Miguel Herrera had this to offer following the team's 2-0 victory over Honduras on Thursday (via Sportal): "I really liked the personality of the team. [I] have to see how young people are behaving with the team. The team had possession of the ball and the fans behaved great. We're happy."
When asked about any personnel changes for Saturday's clash with Panama, the 46-year-old added: "We will make changes for the next game and we will try to keep the base [of the side]."
Herrera's base 5-3-2 formation will be given its first chance to shine against Panama. El Tri were managed by a litany of coaches during the 2014 World Cup cycle, providing the opposition different looks. Herrera's was not one of them, as he was hired to lead Mexico past New Zealand in a World Cup playoff.
