WWE Superstar Chris Jericho recently spoke about the WWE's recent use of Superstars such as Bray Wyatt and Fandango after he helped put them over and he also touched on some other topics.
Jericho recently feuded with Wyatt in a rivalry that culminated in a Steel Cage Match on the Sept. 8 edition of Monday Night RAW and he also put Fandango over at WrestleMania 29 in 2013. Jericho was asked by SportsKeeda.com whether or not the WWE has dropped the ball with the two Superstars after he put them over.
"I mean, put them over, beat them or both. It's just a matter of working with new characters and new guys," Jericho, who will work with Wyatt again on the WWE's European tour in November, told the site. "WWE doesn't drop balls; your career goes in waves, it goes in cycles. I know that more than anybody else. Sometimes you work on top, sometimes you're not and when you're not, it's up to you to make your mark and get back on track again. I think that WWE has a plan and never tries to sabotage anybody on purpose. Why would they do that? It costs them money."
Jericho said he believes that Wyatt will be fine while Fandango may have his limitations due to his character.
"Someone like Bray Wyatt has a huge potential, huge upside. He's got a long way to go, so there are no worries and no rush," Jericho said. "Fandango - I thought was kind of a one trick pony as far as his character and gimmick go. There is only so much you can do with it. I think it's time to update that character and take it to another place because you can only do so much with a character like that."
Jericho also addressed the opinion of some Superstars that he is too stiff in the ring.
"I don't ever get complaints for the way I work and nor would I expect any," he said. "I am not hurting anybody, either Sheamus or Cesaro or anybody who works the general hard style, you are just working, trying to get the best possible match you can make it. No one's breaking any bones or losing any teeth. I just work hard and that's what it's all about."
Jericho ended his televised run in the WWE last month, but he will finish out his duty with them on the European tour next month.
