Detroit Lions Rumors: Ndamukong Suh Being Recruited To Bears By Willie Young? [VIDEO]

Reports from out of Detroit say that the Lions are expected to let Pro Bowl defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh leave via free agency after this season, and he might have his first potential landing spot.

Chicago Bears defensive end and former Lion Willie Young went on the "Carmen & Jurko" show Tuesday on ESPN 1000 and made a pitch for the defensive tackle to come join him in the Windy City.  Young was asked if he would call Suh over the offseason and make a pitch.

"I could see myself doing that. It just depends on, obviously, it's gonna come down to a business standpoint for him in particular," Young said. "But at the end of the day, we've got some good guys here right now. He could come and join me. He could come and join what we're about to build over here in Chicago. We would appreciate it. We would like to have him.”

According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Chicago isn't out of the question for Suh who has said that New York, Dallas and Chicago appeal to him. Suh will earn $12.5 million this season which counts $22.4 million against the Lions' salary cap and is one of five Lion free agents on the defensive line after this season.

Young said that Suh’s style of play would be appreciated in Chicago and “he wants to make every play on the field.”

Suh refuses to talk about his contract situation with the media and his future contract negotiations have been tabled until the season’s end.
