San Francisco 49ers Rumors: Jim Harbaugh, Jed York Have Talk About Coach's Future with Team [VIDEO]

49ers coach Jim Harbaugh is rumored to be on his way out of San Francisco regardless of how this season ends, but the coach has downplayed the situation and has spoken to CEO Jed York.

FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer made a splash early Sunday when he announced that there is "no way" that Harbaugh returns to the 49ers after this season, and since then San Francisco has been doing damage control. Harbaugh spoke about his situation with the team at his weekly Monday media conference and said that he and York had a progressive talk.

"But Jed stopped by today, we had a real good talk and keep moving forward, moving on to the [St. Louis] Rams and continue, everybody in the organization is doing their job," Harbaugh said.

"Everybody is working hard at the craft of helping us be the best we can possibly be as a football team and that's all you can ask of anybody. They're doing their best and nobody appreciates that like I do and I know that's what Jed appreciates.”

Harbaugh then told the media not to drag the 49ers players into the story and if they must pursue to the story to keep it focused on him. Glazer maintains that Harbaugh has worn thin on the front office and players and that his personality will not allow him to lead the team much longer.
