Maryland Terrapins (4-1, 1-0 Big Ten)
Ohio State looks to be hitting their stride as the Buckeyes have won two straight games, and now they face the 4-1 Terrapins of Maryland.
Coach Urban Meyer named injured quarterback Braxton Miller the starter for the 2015 season, but the Buckeyes are putting together quality wins behind the arm of J.T. Barrett.
"J.T. continues to be a very good distributor, completing a high percentage of his balls," Meyer said. "We're giving him more and more responsibility about getting us in the right play, which is a big part of what the quarterback's expected to do."
"Braxton is our quarterback," Meyer said. "To be fair to Braxton, Big Ten Player of the Year. Good to know we've got both of them.”
Ohio State will look to hand Maryland their first loss in the Big Ten as the Terrapins won their first matchup in the power conference against Indiana. Ohio State has not played an in-conference game this season, but the rest of their schedule is all Big Ten opponents.
The two schools have never met on the football field and this is also their first meeting as Big Ten rivals.
