Two clubs chasing UEFA Europa League glory will do battle today in a match between HNK Rijeka and Sevilla. The group-stage match scheduled for 1 p.m. ET will be held at the Stadion Kantrida in Rijeka and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on ESPN Deportes.
Sevilla manager Unai Emery had this to offer ahead of today's European encounter (via Inside Spanish Football): "We're focusing only on Rijeka now. What happened at the [Vicente] Calderón [against Atletico Madrid] doesn't alter our preparations. I maintain full confidence in my players and the result won't affect us at all. We take each moment as it comes, and now it's time for the Europa League. We have a lot of respect for this competition and we know it will be difficult, but we're here to improve."
"We respect our opponents also," he added. "But we want to keep moving on our path. We know the hopes and ambitions that Rijeka have in this competition . They play with a lot of motivation. They have won 22 of their last 25 games at home, so we know what to expect. It's important that we play with honor and respect against them, and that's just what we'll do."
