WWE Rumors: Sheamus Talks Potential Matches With Brock Lesnar And Rusev [VIDEO]

WWE Superstar Sheamus recently made a radio appearance where the reigning United States Champion discussed potential future feuds with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and Rusev among other topics.

'Stone Cold' Steve Austin Teases WrestleMania 31 Appearance

Sheamus spoke with Doug Mortman and Dave Lagreca on Busted Open Radio, which can be heard on SiriusXM 92, about possibly facing "The Beast" in a match.

"Fella, I would love a crack at Brock," Sheamus told the show, according to Wrestlingheadlines.com. "I [have] been asking for a long time for a crack at Brock Lesnar. There is no one more physical in that ring than Brock. That is something I would love to do. Who knows what the story is and where it's going but I love to face Brock. I am looking forward to Cena vs. Seth Rollins because Rollins has been on a roll as of late. That is a new fresh matchup between two great competitors. I don't know where Dean will fit into that; a Cena/Rollins match up I am really looking forward to that."

Sheamus also discussed the possibility of having a United States Championship match against the Russian Rusev.

"I would love to see that match up," he said. "I would love to do it too; Rusev has been on a roll as of late; been a slow and steady build and he put away Mark Henry [Sunday] night. I am proud to hold the U.S. Title because I am proud to live in this country. Regards to Rusev, I would love to take him on; Big, strong, physical fella. I think a Brogue will go really nice on the right side of his face."

Sheamus also touched on his brutal and hard-hitting match against Cesaro at Night of Champions Sunday night at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

"I feel like I was out drinking too much whiskey because of how my head feels right now," he said. "[Sunday] night was amazing I had a great time, the crowd was amazing and I had a world class opponent In Cesaro. [Sunday] night I felt like I had a lot of ups and downs because of the injury, last couple of weeks I feel like I'm starting to hit my stride, to get back where I am supposed to be and last night definitely was a highlight. I want to build on that."

Lastly, Sheamus also discussed the backstage reaction to Roman Reigns having to undergo emergency surgery for a hernia this past weekend.

"Well, it is like this especially with Daniel Bryan. When someone goes down with an injury you feel for the guy," he said. "What we do is so physical we put a lot of pressure on our bodies and they tend to cave in a bit. We do it because we love it. We all band together, we do shows, we work together to put on the best show. As for Roman I know he will be back and better than ever like Daniel Bryan he will be back better and stronger. Sometimes you don't have time to think about you just got to keep it going."
