Two clubs in the Western Conference of MLS will do battle today in a league match between the Vancouver Whitecaps and San Jose Earthquakes. The Vancouver Whitecaps' Mauro Rosales had this to offer ahead of today's league encounter (via MLS's official website): "We didn't have much time to work together as we have many games ahead, but we can see in the game that we can connect and we can also connect with the forward, and just trying to make offensive plays and to just give to the strikers, to give them the option to score, to give them the option to the team to connect and to make good possession of the ball, and we have to improve and to keep moving."
"We know we are on the good way," he added. "I just feel sorry that we just have eight games left."
Tactical Preview
Player to Watch: San Jose's Chris Wondolowski remains the club's consistent strike option. In 19 appearances this season, the 31-year-old has contributed 12 goals and four assists.
