Caroline Wozniacki-Rory McIlroy Aftermath: McIlroy Caught Making Fun of Ex-Fiancee? [VIDEO]

If celebrities or public figures learn anything from the Ray Rice indefinite suspension from the NFL, it's that video is all powerful and that their behavior has to be appropriate nearly 24 hours a day.

Several media outlets reported that golfers Rory McIlroy and Sergio Garcia appeared to recreating a scene from McIlroy's ex fiancée Caroline Wozniacki when her hair got tangled in her racket during her second-round win over Alaiksandra Sasnovich.

Maria Sharapova trolls Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki during their post-U.S. Open celebration?

A video was created showing Wozniacki fighthing to get her racket untangled from her hair during a point that she lost on the top half and McIlroy and Garcia appearing to mimic Wozniacki's moves while she was trying to free her racket from her hair. CBSSports.com was one of the outlets to display the video.

McIlroy was accused of making fun of Wozniacki, basically because his actions were recorded and aired over the internet. Recreating Wozniacki's scene may not have been the most prudent thing, either, for McIlroy to mimic, but the gesture doesn't appear malicious on the part of either McIlroy or Garcia - perhaps because the original scene wasn't all that embarrassing for Wozniacki.

Caroline Wozniacki gets in a hairy situation at the U.S. Open

The video of Wozniacki was amusing, and Wozniacki didn't turn it into a bigger social media spectacle with any kind of irrational display.

As the jilted party in the relationship, Wozniacki gets the sympathy while McIlroy gets the scrutiny in any subject that pertains to both. Earlier this year, Wozniacki wore high heels for the first time in three years, and the media speculated that she did it now because she couldn't when she was dating the younger McIlroy.

Also, Wozniacki changed the avatar on her Twitter account to her Halloween costume and people took note because McIroy had a terrible round during a golf event when Wozniacki changed.

McIroy was not portrayed in a favorable light after breaking up with Wozniacki, when reports surfaced that he did it over the phone. But then he went out and won the British Open and PGA Championship and all was forgiven.

Wozniacki won her first tournament of the year at the Istanbul Open and advanced to the finals of the second Grand Slam tournament of her career at the U.S. Open.

But while both seemingly have moved on, both should be on alert of doing anything publicly that could be construed - or misconstrued - as a knock on the other party.

McIlroy is going to be the one affected more.
