Texas Tech ranks fifth in the nation throwing the ball with 452 yards through the air and UTEP is 12th in the nation running the ball with 330 yards on the ground last week.
Texas Tech leads the all-time series with UTEP 14-6-1 and the Red Raiders have won the last five meetings against the Miners. The Miners last victory against Texas Tech came in the form of a 26-14 win in 1957.
