The No. 13 LSU Tigers and the No. 14 Wisconsin Badgers will play in a SEC, Big Ten matchup that is one of only two games that pits two top 25 teams against one another this weekend.

These two teams come in ranked in the top 15, but neither seems to have committed to a player at the quarterback position. Wisconsin is going to go with safety turned quarterback Tanner McEvoy and LSU coach Les Miles believes the Tigers will go a two-quarterback system.

"Our team understands that we have talented quarterbacks," Miles said. "But right now they have not separated themselves, and we are not certain. If we were certain, then I promise you, we would play the one guy that would give us all the advantage.

"But if two guys can give us greater advantage than one guy, then let's certainly play two," Miles added.

Sophomore Anthony Jennings and freshman Brandon Harris will both see time at quarterback, but will one overtake the other going forward in the 2014 season?

It was Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon who spilled the beans on the starting quarterback for the Badgers when he said that Tanner will get the nod. These two teams will likely take their quarterback frustrations out each other and find who will lead the teams under center for the rest of 2014.

Wisconsin has lost its biggest non-conference game the last two seasons against Oregon State in 2012 and Arizona State in 2013.

LSU has won 45 straight regular-season non-conference games since 2002 and have beaten a ranked opponent at a neutral site to open three of the last four seasons.

The Badgers have won 16 consecutive season openers compared to the Tigers’ 11 consecutive opener victories.
