Manchester United Transfer News: Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez Being Forced to Juventus to Secure Arturo Vidal Transfer

On Thursday, the Guardian shed light on a £12-to-£15 million bid from Sevilla and Juventus for the services of Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez. Twenty-four hours later, the Daily Mail now reports (via Goal Transfer Talk) that Manchester United are forcing Hernandez in the direction of Juventus to bring Arturo Vidal to Old Trafford in exchange.

The transfer of one of Mexico's most prominent strikers seemingly has no end.

Since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson, Hernandez has been linked with AC Milan, Southampton, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and now Sevilla. Neither have come to fruition and the idea of the 26-year-old departing Manchester, no matter how logical, appears less likely by the rumor.

Hernandez has suffered on the pitch as a result. Even a rare start in the second round of the Capital One Cup resulted in an embarrassing 4-0 defeat to League One outfit MK Dons; however, according to former Derby County midfielder Robbie Savage, Hernandez has no one to blame but himself. "What United's 4-0 defeat by League One side MK Dons in the Capital One Cup told me was that the senior players involved in that game looked like they knew they had no future at the club," Savage said (via Squawka). "The likes of Javier Hernandez, Anderson and Danny Welbeck were almost feeling sorry for themselves, and that was never going to help the young kids who were in their second-string team."

Don't expect that to change. With no playing time in the foreseeable future, Hernandez is no longer of help to United. A move to Juventus, whether forced or not, is best for all parties involved.
