Ric Flair Daughter Charlotte Will Likely Join WWE Roster Soon [VIDEO]

The WWE has struggled to find something to do for Hall of Famer Ric Flair and the company is reportedly thinking about calling up Flair's daughter Charlotte to the main roster to give him a full-time on-air role with the company.

WWE Reportedly Wants To Offer UFC's Ronda Rousey A Deal

The WWE has wanted to give Flair an on-air role for some time but haven't been able to find a long-term project for him.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Bayley is likely to be booked to defeat Charlotte for the WWE NXT Women's Championship at NXT Takeover 2 on Sept. 11 as a way to free Charlotte of the title in order to bring her up to the main roster.

The idea to bring Charlotte, whose real name is Ashley Fliehr, to the main roster comes with the idea of giving Flair a regular role on television.

Flair had reportedly wanted to work with Dolph Ziggler upon returning to the WWE for his full-time role a few months back, but the WWE wasn't planning on pushing Ziggler at the time and didn't want to put the two together for whatever reason.

There were reports that Flair may renew his program with The Miz, but once he came back from filming a movie, the WWE gave him a heel Hollywood gimmick and decided to go in a different direction.

It's worth noting that since those reports surfaced, Ziggler won the Intercontinental Championship from The Miz and the two are feuding.

There was an idea to pair Flair with The Shield earlier in the year, but Seth Rollins turned heel in June, splitting up The Shield and causing babyfaces Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns to also go their separate ways.

The WWE has used Flair sporadically on panels and in backstage segments while they've searched for something more concrete for "The Nature Boy" to do.

He most recently appeared alongside fellow Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels in a Hall of Fame forum on Monday Night RAW where they discussed the upcoming match between Brock Lesnar and John Cena at Night of Champions on Sept. 21 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

It is likely that Charlotte will be called up to the main roster soon under the tutelage of her dad and she may even get involved with Paige and AJ Lee's Divas Championship storyline upon debuting in the WWE.
