The 96th PGA Championship does not come without it’s fair share of story lines from top to bottom. Whether you will be following Rory McIlroy’s quest for a dominant third-straight victory or what is next for Tiger Woods after missing the cut after day two.

Day Two Leaderboard:
1. Rory McIlroy -9
T-2. Jim Furyk -8
T-2. Jason Day -8
T-4. Ryan Palmer -7
T-4. Mikko Ilonen -7

Rory McIlroy made his move and now leads the pack by one stroke at 9-under par. Jim Furyk and Jason Day are hot on his trail at 8-under par, but the story of the day is Tiger Woods. Woods missed the cut at Valhalla after shooting a 3-over 74 to go six-over for the entire tournament. This is only the fourth time Tiger has missed the cut on a major championship as a pro and just the 12th time worldwide overall.

Rory and Jason Day will make up the final pairing for the last days of the tournament and will tee off at 3:00PM Saturday. Jim Furyk and Ryan Palmer will tee off at 2:50PM and Phil Mickelson will start at 2:30PM with Bernd Wiesberger.

McIlroy is attempting to become the first player to win back-to-back majors since Padraig Harrington won the Open Championship and PGA Championship in 2008.
