Two clubs chasing the Apertura Liga MX title will do battle today in a league match between Leon and Monarcas Morelia. The first-division clash scheduled for 9 p.m. ET will be held at the Nou Camp in Leon and can be live streamed free via the Telemundo Deportes mobile app. Additional TV coverage can be found on Telemundo.

Both clubs enter today's match in search of their first three points of the season. Leon, however, are desperate to obtain at least one. The two-time defending Liga MX champions have dropped their first two matches, being outscored by three goals in the process. Just don't expect manager Gustavo Matosas to make any excuses.

"I think that if I look for an excuse, the champion's hangover would be a good one," Matosas said (via Medio Tiempo). "But I'm not one for excuses. I think that in those two games, first against America, that we could've done so much more. Against Tigres, without a doubt they were deserving to win."

"It'd be very easy to use the famous excuse of the champion's hangover," he added. "But I'm not going to do it."

What Leon must do is dispatch of a Morelia side struggling to find results of their own.

Tactical Preview

Player to Watch: It's been a tough start for goalkeeper William Yarbrough. The Leon shot-stopper is averaging a mere 0.5 saves per goal this season and is conceding an average of three per match. He must improve his form for his club to return to its winning ways.

Leon's Projected Lineup (4-4-2): Yarbrough; Magallon, Marquez, Ibarra, Hernandez; Cardenas, Hernandez, Peña, Vazquez; Caicedo, Boselli

Morelia's Projected Lineup (4-4-2): Rodríguez, Guzmán, Godínez, Huiqui, Morales, Valdéz, Zárate, Riascos, Pereira, Zamorano, Fernández
