Tiger Woods World Golf Championships: Tiger Set for Fast Rebound at Firestone, Sets Expectations at a All-Time Low [VIDEO]

Tiger Woods has had two terrible showings since returning from back surgery, but this weekend's World Golf Championships Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club could be just what the doctor ordered.

Woods has a history of crushing Firestone in his 16 career appearances and even tied the course record with a second-round 61 in 2013. Woods admitted he is still finding his rhythm and he doesn't have all the confidence in the world at the moment.

"There's no comparison between a knee and a back," Woods said of recent injury issues. "The knee is so much easier to deal with and rehab from than coming back from a back (surgery). I've had Achilles injuries, obviously knee surgeries, but this thing is just way different. It's way more debilitating than I thought.

"Everything fell into place. I was able to get back (for the British Open). But now it's just continuing, and I still need to get much stronger than I am now, and I still need to get much more explosive than I am now. That's just (going to take) time.”

Tiger believes that Firestone, as well as any course he historically excels at, is just what he needs to find his footing and it isn't a secret that he needs to improve his last two preformances.

"I've come into this event not playing great and I've come into it playing great, but it's one of those golf courses where I always feel comfortable," he said. "There are certain venues, whether it's here or Torrey Pines or Bay Hill, I somehow see the sight lines. This place hasn't (changed). I still feel comfortable seeing the sight lines and playing the venue.”

Woods is set to take on World Golf Championships Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club and if history is any indication, he should improve on his last two tournaments considering that it cant get worse.
