WWE Rumors: Backstage Update On Jack Swagger vs. Rusev At SummerSlam And Kofi Kingston's Stable [VIDEO]

There have been reports that Jack Swagger and Rusev will square off in a Flag Match at SummerSlam and it appears as though Swagger may win the match while the new stable involving Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E spoke about their new alignment.

It has been widely speculated that Swagger, the American patriot, and Rusev, the ruthless Russian will continue their feud into SummerSlam on Aug. 17 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles as the WWE continues to build up their struggle over national pride.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the WWE has opted to go with a Flag Match due to the fact that they could afford to have Rusev lose that type of match since he won't have to be pinned. This would put Swagger over as an American hero on the show while Rusev would still look strong as he has never been pinned.

Should the Flag Match happen, it would be the first bout with that stipulation attached to it since Hunico battled Ted Dibiase in that type of contest on the Jan. 20, 2012 episode of SmackDown.

The WWE has already confirmed Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Stephanie McMahon vs. Brie Bella and Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt for the biggest show of the summer while other rumors have emerged for SummerSlam come Aug. 17.

Three title matches are expected to be added as The Miz will likely defend his Intercontinental Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Bo Dallas and Dolph Ziggler, The Usos are slated to put their Tag Team Championships on the line in a Fatal 4 Way Tag Team Championship match and AJ Lee will likely battle Paige for the WWE Divas Championship.

Other matches likely for the show are Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose with some sort of stipulation attached and Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns.

Regarding the new stable with Kingston, Woods and Big E, they spoke with Eden Monday night in an exclusive interview for the WWE App.

Big E said they were, "a collection of," and Woods finished his thought by adding, "those who don't know are not in a position to say and those who are wouldn't say."

Kingston then followed up by adding to the mystery of the group's future.

"In other words Eden, you will know what this is when we want you to know what this is," Kingston said.

It's unknown what the trio's role will be at SummerSlam, but it will be a jam-packed show on Aug. 17 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
