WWE Rumors: The Undertaker Retired? Superstar Uncertain For Return After Losing The Streak At WrestleMania 30 [VIDEO]

The wrestling world was shocked when the WWE ended The Streak of The Undertaker in a loss to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX this past April 6 in New Orleans, and now it appears as though 'Taker may be done with wrestling.

CM Punk 'Never Ever' Returning To WWE

It had previously been reported that The Undertaker's status for WrestleMania 31 is up in the air, and while The Undertaker hasn't completely ruled out a return to the squared circle, he has reportedly maintained the fact that it is doubtful he'll be good to go when talking about his future with friends.

Dave Meltzer recently gave an update on 'Taker's WWE status during an edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio program.

"The last we had heard, which was, I don't know what a month or two ago, it feels like a bit over a month ago, Undertaker was saying that he did not expect to ever wrestle again, but he didn't rule it out 100 percent, he just didn't expect it," Meltzer said.

The Undertaker has been making an annual appearance at the Show of Shows after winding down his full-time in-ring career, and he's had some epic matches over the last few years. However, after 'Taker lost The Streak and sustained injuries in his match with Lesnar that reportedly were still an issue in June, it seemed doubtful he'd come back for another match.

There have been rumors that now that Sting is in the WWE family with his WWE 2K15 inclusion that he'd face 'Taker at WrestleMania 31 in California, but a match for 'Taker is reportedly "not looking good."

Sting has always wanted to face 'Taker and there were rumors that they'd clash at WrestleMania XXX, but the WWE opted to go with Lesnar vs. Undertaker instead and the potential "dream match" between Sting and 'Taker took a back seat.

Sting has always wanted to work with The Undertaker and even said in a recent interview that he remained hopeful that 'Taker would face him and that both could have one final match against each other, likely at WrestleMania 31.

WrestleMania 31 emanates from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. on March 29, 2015, and while it is far off right now, it appears as though The Undertaker may not be wrestling at the biggest show of the year for the first time in 15 years.
