Seven other potential transfers include Ashley Young, Patrice Evra, Wilfried Zaha, Bebe, Anderson, Nani and Nick Powell. One glaring name absent from that list is Mexican international Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez. Is he the 10th player not named in the Daily Mirror's report?

According to Tom Hopkinson (via the Mirror), he is.

In attempt to offload left-back Luke Shaw from Southampton, the Saints inquired about the services of the 26-year-old. Hernandez, however, saw a move to the South Coast club as a significant downgrade and rejected the offer. Impressing enough to return to the pitch at Old Trafford remains his priority.

During the 2014 World Cup, Hernandez spoke about the lack of confidence surrounding him and the impact it's had. "This whole year has been very tough," he said (via FIFA). "Players need confidence more than anything else and I've been very short of it. Very few people have shown faith in me over this past year."

That trend appears to be continuing for Hernandez. Should he aspire to remain in the fold for the Mexican national team, finding a confidence-boosting location is the key. Even if it's not in Manchester.
