College football royalty finally tied the knot this weekend as former Alabama Crimson Tide and current Cincinnati Bengals quarterback AJ McCarron and his model fiancee Katherine Webb got married at Orange Beach United Methodist Church in Alabama.
Webb found the spotlight when ESPN’s Brent Musburger made some comments about her appearance during Alabama’s 2013 championship win over Notre Dame. McCarron, of course, found his fame by being the quarterback of the Crimson Tide for the past four years.
Since then, the couple hasn't left the spotlight as McCarron will be competing for the job under center for the Bengals against veteran Jason Campbell, but is not expected to be a threat to starting quarterback Andy Dalton. Webb is a former Miss Alabama and is rumored to be attached to an upcoming reality show while maintaining a modeling career.
The couple’s wedding party consisted of 10 groomsmen and 10 bridesmaids that consisted of Webb's sister Laurie and McCarron’s brother, Corey, as the best man. The wedding party was given an FBI detail for their own protection against stalkers before the rehearsal dinner.
