Steve "Sting" Borden sent the wrestling world abuzz Tuesday when he tweeted a teaser of himself in classic white face paint and then tweeting out the date of next Monday, which is when RAW emanates from the Richmond Coliseum in Virginia. This led to many fans believing he'll return and there is an update on what the tweet could possibly mean.

Sting tweeted the picture of himself in makeup and then tweeted, "7.14.14" which led to a lot of speculation that he would be making his long awaited WWE debut on Monday Night RAW next week, but that may not in fact be the case.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Sting likely tweeted the date to hint at his inclusion in the WWE 2K15 video game, and it may not be a hint at his return.

It has been said that Sting and the WWE agreed to terms on a contract and that Sting has had the physical contract with him at his house but for whatever reason he has yet to sign the deal. It has been reported ever since WrestleMania XXX last April that the two sides were close to a deal but nothing has been fully official.

The WWE has always wanted to bring the former WCW and TNA icon into the company as he has remained as the only huge WCW main eventer that WWE CEO Vince McMahon has failed to bring into the fold despite many attempts and close calls over the years.

There were rumors that Sting would face The Undertaker on April 6 at WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans but it was then reported that the WWE was dragging its feet in closing out the deal with Sting and saw it as a "low priority" despite the fact that Sting really wanted to work with The Undertaker.

The Undertaker ended up facing and losing to Brock Lesnar, which ended The Streak and may have ended the "Dead Man's" career after he was injured in the match.

There have been rumors that Sting may face 'Taker at WrestleMania 31 in the Bay Area next March due to his California ties, but the status for The Undertaker is still unknown and he reportedly told some close friends he was doubtful to appear at the event.

There have also been rumors of Sting being inducted into the 2015 Hall of Fame but he has yet to sign a contract for whatever reason.

While the tweet may very well be about his appearance in the WWE 2K15 video game, Sting could very well surprise everyone by appearing on next week's Monday Night RAW.
