Belgium enters today's match with an opportunity to make history. The small European nation is just one step from returning to the semifinals for the first time since 1986. Head coach Marc Wilmots is urging his players to brace the occasion, not succumb to it.

"We've studied their [Argentina] tactics and we'll stick to our style. We won't just defend," said the former Belgian midfielder, who played at three World Cups (via FIFA). "We play compact football and we don't leave a lot of space. We have to attack and defend together.

"It's all a matter of balance between attack and defense, but it's a quarterfinal," he added. "We can write history. The players know this and we're going to play our own game."
