Houston Rockets Rumors: 'All-In' for LeBron James This Free Agency? [VIDEO]

The Houston Rockets have made big splashes the past two off seasons in the form of James Harden and Dwight Howard. Now reports are surfacing that the Rockets are going “all-in” to sway LeBron James to Houston and complete their own Big Three.

Bleacher Report's Howard Beck believes that the Rockets have a legitimate shot at swaying James away from South Beach due to the franchise's location and roster.

“The competition for James' affection will be fierce, but Houston's pitch may be tough to beat.

The Rockets already have the league's best guard-center tandem (Harden-Howard), solid young role players (Chandler Parsons [who is set to become a restricted free agent], Patrick Beverly, Terrence Jones) and an owner (Les Alexander) who is willing to spend. Houston also has all of its first-round picks for the next couple of years as well as a knack for finding talent late in the draft.”

The Rockets have some house cleaning to do before they can make a run at James, but that all starts with getting rid of Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik. If the Rockets can trade the pair they could clear up to $16.7 million to use on James.

The Rockets have a lot to offer the two-time NBA champion when he decides on his future and if James wants to continue to win immediately he could soon find himself in Houston. LeBron said he will not focus on his decision until he returns from vacation with his family, but he still has to make the choice by the end of June as free agency starts July 1.
