Los Angeles continues its seven-game road trip after dropping two of three to the Atlanta Braves over the weekend while Cleveland kicks off a seven-game homestand after going 5-5 on a 10-game road trip through Arlington, Kansas City and Boston.

The Angels enter play in second place in the American League West while the Indians sit at third place in the AL Central.

Jered Weaver (7-5, 3.31 ERA) takes the mound for Los Angeles while Cleveland counters with Trevor Bauer, who is 1-3 with a 4.24 ERA.

Bauer is coming off of a frustrating outing against the Royals where he gave up three runs in 5.1 innings.

"It doesn't matter how I felt, I didn't do my job," Bauer told MLB.com. "I threw the ball well sometimes, and we scored enough to win and I didn't do my job."

Weaver also lasted just 5.1 innings in his last start against the Oakland Athletics while allowing four runs.

Cleveland outfielder Michael Brantley is hitting .538 in his last seven games and ranks fifth in the AL with a .322 average. Brantley ranks fourth in the AL in runs (49), hits (85) and on-base percentage (.390) while pacing the Indians with 11 homers and 45 RBI. Fellow outfielder Michael Bourn is tied for second in the AL with five triples.

Lonnie Chisenhall paces the tribe in average (.371) among qualifiers thus far this season.

Angels outfielder Mike Trout is tied with Bourn for second in the AL with five triples and ranks fourth in the AL in total bases (144), on-base percentage (.390), slugging percentage (.585) and OPS (.976). Trout is hitting .305 with 14 homers and a team-leading 50 RBI this season.

Halos first baseman Albert Pujols leads the team with 16 long balls on the campaign and is hitting .258 with 41 RBI.

The Angels and Indians kick off their four-game set tonight at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
