According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, there were reports that the casting of the body double and orchestra were for a DVD project on the former WCW and TNA icon and for b-roll footage, however reports now indicate that it is not for a WWE-related project.

As for the ongoing contract negotiations with Sting and the WWE, it is still very much unsettled as Sting has yet to sign the dotted line to become a part of the WWE. There were recent reports that Sting and the WWE had an agreement in place but the former WCW World Champion hadn't signed the deal despite being in possession of the contract.

There were reports Sting would face The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX, but the WWE dragged its feet during the negotiations and scrapped that and chose to put Brock Lesnar in the match against The Undertaker. Lesnar won the match on April 6 and ended The Streak. Now, 'Taker's future is up in the air.

There could be a possible scenario where Sting takes on 'Taker at WrestleMania 31 next year, but since he lost The Streak and got injured at WrestleMania XXX, it is possible that The Undertaker will opt to retire. There were plans for Sting to come in and do something at WrestleMania 31 due to his California ties and it being in the Bay Area, but it is now Sting dragging his feet about signing.

There were also rumors that Sting may be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015, but everything remains up in the air.

There are potential plans for Sting to come into the company for the first time ever, but until he decides to sign the dotted line, they remain unclear.
