Phoenix Suns Draft Rumors: Suns' Three First-Round Picks Will define NBA Draft, Used in Package for Kevin Love? [VIDEO]

With three first-round picks, the Phoenix Suns can do a load of damage in the NBA draft, but what will the team do with all their assets? The Suns hold the keys to the first round and with all their options they could be the team that makes the biggest splash come June 26.

The Suns were one of the biggest surprises in the NBA in 2013-14, but they fell just short of the playoffs. General manager Ryan McDonough has already made it quite clear that he doesn't believe his roster is complete and they can’t get content considering they didn't make the playoffs.

“We are not going to sit here as a team that didn’t make the playoffs and say we’re all set,”

The Suns own the No. 14, 18 and 27 picks in the draft and with that much ammo, they could be poised to get the established star they have been seeking.

“Our preference would be, as I said when I arrived, to trade for a star if we can do that,”

The Suns are expected to be very active this offseason both in free agency and in-house. Eric Bledsoe has already made his stance clear that he would love to stay in Phoenix, but wants a max contract from the Suns.

The Suns’ options are endless as they could continue to build a young roster with all three picks or they could package them to a team and get an establish veteran to pair with Bledsoe. Like most of the NBA, you can’t count the Suns out of the Kevin Love saga as they could more than likely offer the most appealing package of picks and players to Minnesota.

The Suns can become a team to look out for in 2014-15 as opposed to the surprise team that everyone believed was going to be a stepping stone if they acquire a Love-type player.
