Two clubs in opposite conferences of MLS will do battle today in a league match between the Chicago Fire and Seattle Sounders. The first-division clash scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET will be held at Toyota Park in Chicago and can be live streamed here.
After undressing Real Salt Lake last week by a score of 4-0, the Sounders return to the pitch with an extra boost of confidence. Head coach Sigi Schmid had nothing but glowing praise for his men following the match. "That was one of the things we've been working on, defensively playing a little bit better. Once it was 3-0 they had a few chances at that point, but we also had some chances to score some more," said Sounders FC head coach Sigi Schmid (via MLS's official website).
"I was pleased with the team's effort and pleased with the commitment to the game," he added.
"When he came out and I thought Kenny played very well also. When you get those kind of shifts it's a good thing."
