Two nations looking to return to form will do battle today in an international friendly between Croatia and Australia. The World Cup tune-up scheduled for 7 p.m. ET will be held at the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador. Information on how and where to stream the match can be found here.
Despite the World Cup being less than a week away, Croatia enters today's match still uncertain about the potential starting XI it will field in Brazil. With one last friendly remaining against Australia, head coach Niko Kovac admits he will use this match to give all the players on his 23-man roster an opportunity to state their case.
"I still don't have the lineup for the match against Brazil. We will give a chance to the majority of our players against Australia and will decide about the lineup for Brazil," Kovac said to media before flying to South America (via Samba Foot). "We know everything about the Brazilian team. They will play two more friendly matches that we will analyze them and see if they make some changes," he added.
"Personally, I don't expect to see anything new,"
