WWE News And Rumors [VIDEO]: Triple H Addresses Seth Rollins and Batista, 'The Shield Perished'

Triple H sat down with WWE announcer Michael Cole for another kayfabe interview, and they spoke about the shocking turn of events from Monday Night RAW where Seth Rollins turned on The Shield and Batista quit.

Triple H told Cole that The Shield is no more after he was asked about Rollins turning his back on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns by hitting them with steel chairs just one night after The Shield defeated Evolution in a six-man No Holds Barred tag team match at Payback.

"What I said was this would be over with The Shield when The Shield was no more," Triple H said. "Guess what? I won. I always win."

Triple H then discussed why Rollins was the perfect choice to turn heel and join himself and Randy Orton in Evolution.

"To me, Seth Rollins has always been the brains of the operation," Triple H said. "What do you think those guys just ran out there and did what they did? No, no no...Somebody was the architect. Somebody was the brains. And it's always been Seth Rollins from day one."

"The Game" then hyped Rollins' appearance on this Friday's SmackDown (taped last Tuesday) where he is slated to address the WWE Universe about the events of Monday Night RAW.

"Listen to the whole world Cole, my promises don't mean anything right? That's what everybody says," Triple H said. "You wanna know why Seth Rollins did what he did, ask Seth Rollins. I don't control him, he's not here right now that's fine. You wanna know where he's gonna be? I'll tell you exactly where he's gonna be Friday night on SmackDown...He's gonna tell the WWE Universe exactly what they need to hear."

Triple H then addressed Batista, who "quit" Monday night, leading a void in Evolution that was filled in by Rollins. Batista is expected to be out until August for SummerSlam promoting an upcoming movie.

"It's not the first time he quits and it probably won't be the last time he quits," Triple H told Cole about Batista. "It's what Dave does...He quits things, never really sees them through. He wants to run off to Hollywood and play "Drax the Destroyer" in his Guardians of the Galaxy movie? Good for him. I hope it works out because I know Dave well enough to know he doesn't have a Plan B."

When it comes to worrying about retribution, Triple H said he's not concerned with Reigns and Ambrose because The Shield is done.

"Why would I be worried about Ambrose and Reigns? The Shield doesn't exist anymore. Adapt or perish. Seth Rollins adapted, The Shield perished."

It's unknown what other twists and turns lie ahead in this storyline, but things will likely start to become clearer on Monday's episode of RAW.
