WWE Rumors: Daniel Bryan Condition Not Good? WWE Champ Losing Strength In His Arm During Rehab [VIDEO]

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan underwent surgery on his neck in mid-May, and now it appears as though his rehab is progressing poorly and he's losing strength.

Contract Details Revealed For Sting, Who Still Hasn't Signed

Bryan, who is slated to face Kane at Money in the Bank on June 29 in Boston if he's healthy enough to return, is losing strength in his arm during rehab, according to Wrestlingheadlines.com. The rehab is going slower than expected and Bryan was backstage during Monday Night RAW this week in Indianapolis.

the report indicates that a person close to Bryan's situation says he isn't making any gains and that he's losing strength in his left arm while going through his rehab from neck surgery to repair an injury he sustained over wear and tear from his in-ring style over the years.

Updated Plans For August's SummerSlam

Bryan's condition was reportedly a hot topic with people in power in the WWE during RAW. The company already had to cancel a Buried Alive match it had planned between Bryan and Kane for last Sunday's Payback, and now their Stretcher Match at Money in the Bank appears to be in doubt as well.

If Bryan can't go, it was revealed that the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, which is usually for a contract for a title shot at any time in the next year, would then be for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and Bryan would have to relinquish the belt.

The WWE created a storyline with a back-and-forth series of promos between Bryan and Stephanie McMahon to get it through Payback without having to take the title away from Bryan, but now if things don't progress by Money in the Bank, Bryan will have to forfeit the title.

The WWE's summer plans hinge on Bryan's health as the reported plans were for Cesaro to win the contract at Money in the Bank and then Bryan to lose the title to Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and have Cesaro cash in on Lesnar. Lesnar and Cesaro would then square off at Night of Champions in September.

If Bryan can't come back in time, there's no telling what kind of changes the WWE will have to make to its long-term plans for the summer.

While Bryan's neck surgery was seen as a minor and routine procedure, it appears as though the WWE Champion could miss some significant time and cause the WWE to continue to make changes to its upcoming plans.
