Two nations looking to return to form will do battle today in an international friendly between France and Paraguay. The French World Cup tune-up scheduled for 3 p.m. ET will be held at the Allianz Riviera in Nice and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on Galavision.

An unpredictable France national team continues its preparation for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, but critics find said preparations to be a moot point. The typical fall-out is all that's expected from one of international football's most talented sides. Head coach Didier Deschamps, however, is determined to silence his critics.

"We need to move on now [from past failures], but the closure will only happen if we have a good World Cup, if we play well and we win games," Deschamps said (via the Telegraph). "The most important thing when you go to a World Cup is not to pick the best 23 players, but to pick the best squad. It's not just about talent, it's also about attitude."

"I'm going to Brazil with lots of ambition but I'm a realist, too," Deschamps added. "To win it for us would be viewed as a miracle."
