Kyrie Irving Free Agency News: Cavs Guard Wants John Wall Contract, Willing To Leave Cavs? [VIDEO]

Kyrie Irving is rumored to be seeking a deal similar to the five-year, $80 million deal John Wall signed with the Washington Wizards last summer.

The All-Star guard probably won't get any such offer from the Cleveland Cavs, who have been reluctant to offer the 22-year-old star a max deal largely based on what management perceives as his growing immaturity, according to Fansided.com.

Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters come to blows?

The Cavs underperformed this season, finishing the year at 33-49 and out of the Eastern Conference playoffs leading to the firing of coach Mike Brown after just one season. Tainting the year even more, Irving and backcourt running mate Dion Waiters warred all season, at one point reportedly even coming to blows in the locker room.

Kyrie Irving to leave Cavs for Knicks?

Over his three NBA seasons, the West Orange New Jersey native has made no secret of his fondness for nearby New York City and the idea of perhaps playing there some day. It's all enough to have some speculating he may view the Cavs hardline stance as a big enough slight to force his way out of town, thus putting a damper on the team's recent excitement of having won the top selection in next month's NBA draft where they are expected to chose from the trio of Duke's Jabari Parker and the Kansas tandem of Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid.

Irving averaged 21 points, six assists, four rebounds and two steals per game for the Cavs last season.
