Danny Green Hits Seven 3-pointers; Spurs Crush Thunder by 35 in Game 2

SWN staff and wire report

The Spurs dominated the Oklahoma City Thunder on both ends of the court Wednesday night in San Antonio en route to a 112-77 victory. San Antonio leads the best-of-seven series 2-0.

Five Spurs scored on double figures, led by point guard Tony Parker's 22. Danny Green chipped in 21 points on 7-of-10 3-pointers.

The Spurs, aiming for a return to the NBA Finals, outshot their opponents by 50 percent to 39 from the field.

Regular-season MVP Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook led the Thunder with 15 points each but, for the second straight game, they sorely missed the shot-blocking skills of power forward Serge Ibaka, who is out for the rest of the playoffs with a calf injury.

The series now shifts to Oklahoma City where Game 3 will be played on Sunday.
